Chinese Semina
October is a good time in golden autumn. In order to better promote young teachers' learning and communication, further build up the ranks of teachers, comprehensively improve the level of Chinese classroom teaching, and strive to create efficient classroom teaching, on the afternoon of October 27th, the teachers of the Chinese group gathered together and kicked off the seminar for young teachers.
To be concrete, teachers Jin Ye and Zhu Lijuan who participated in the seminar have made full preparations before class. In combination with their own teaching characteristics, the two teachers extensively collected information, studied the teaching materials, and paid attention to the study and teaching method research. In addition, the lessons reflected the teaching idea of ‘student-centered principle and taking reading as the main line’ in terms of pre-class introduction, target setting, classroom organization as well as listening and guidance, which comprehensively embodied the educational concept of educating people.
On the one hand, teacher Jin Ye has made full preparations before teaching ‘The Feet of Ivy’. With the help of the pictures, students understood the color, shape and climbing movement of the ivy’s feet. The classroom teaching is student-centered through hands-on drawing and group work, which helped the children understand and recognize texts. On the other hand, the lesson ‘Bird on a Boat’ taught by teacher Zhu Lijuan presented us with a ‘friendly and affectionate’ class, which took students’ active exploration and learning as the basic activity form. Meanwhile, the students felt the agility of the kingfisher in their reading, permeating the teaching objectives. What’s more, students spoke actively in class, which received good teaching effect. Though the two classes are different in style, the wonderful classroom teaching fully demonstrates the teaching charm of our teachers, whose fresh and natural teaching style, skillful classroom control ability, kind and generous teaching attitude are the best testimony of each teacher's perseverance and assiduous study.
After the demonstration classes, under the leadership of the teaching and research group leader Wang Juan, several teachers Qian Fang, Xue Mei and Jiao Yinyin made comments and in-depth discussions on the teaching of the two teachers respectively. Everyone expressed their opinions from teaching objectives, teaching methods, teaching design and other aspects, pointed out the highlights of the classroom teaching and areas for improvement, which not only benefited each teacher a lot, but also gave guidance to the next step of teaching work and infused vitality for into the creation of efficient classroom. Finally, Director Xu Degao and Director Xu Yanxia made the summary speeches.
To sum up, this seminar has built a platform for young teachers to showcase themselves, strengthened the exchange and learning among teachers, and played a positive role in improving the teaching level of the teachers and promoting the development of education and teaching.
